Join us for a fun filled and educational adventure at the Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center as we explore the fascinating world of fossils!
Fremont County is famous for some truly remarkable fossil discoveries – now’s your chance to learn all about them and “dig into” some hands-on activities.
The event will consist of engaging and educational fossil themed activities, with special guests:
• The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center from Woodland Park
• The Florissant Fossil Mobile from the Florissant Fossil Quarry
This event is free and will be geared toward kids of all ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult. It will be open house style, so, stop by anytime between 10:00am–2:00pm on Saturday June 28th.

The Museum and History Center is located at 612 Royal Gorge Blvd. in the City of Cañon City’s former Municipal Building. The regular business hours of the Museum and History Center are Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
